Debbra Morris, 64, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015, at her home. She was born on January 18, 1951, in Charles City, Iowa, to Helene Roberta Louise Morris (London) and Harold A Morris.
Debbra went to Charles City High School and graduated with the class of 1969. She was active in many school activities and she was the 1968 Snowball Dance Queen. She later went on to attend Waldorf College. As a teenager she loved to travel and would often mention her trips to Europe and especially loved Germany. During the football season you would always find her rooting for the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s, she even has a room dedicated to the team. She had a big kind heart always wanting to help others and an avid animal lover, she would not want us to forget to mention her Rusty Jack she left behind.
She is survived by her three children, Matthew (Julie) Vance, Nathan (Becky) Vance both of Charles City, Iowa, and Nicholas Vance of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, Brooke, Lukas and Jacob Vance; one sister Rosalie (Paul) Caffrey; two brothers James Morris and Roger (Nancy) Morris.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Helene Roberta Louise Morris (London), and her father; Harold A Morris.
Funeral Services
- A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 611 North 2450 East, St. George.
