Jeffery Covington was born June 12, 1952, to Justin and Lillian Covington. He was their fifth child and their fourth son. He honorably served in the Army, Coast Guard, Reserves and Civil Service. He married his sweetheart, the love of his life, Kathy Jackson, on April 10, 1982. They were sealed in the St. George Temple on April 10, 1984.
They were amazing parents to six children. No sacrifice was too much for his family. He was a much-beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Everyone called him Jeff, except for his mother. He was blessed with a second mom, Anne Covington.
He passed away peacefully on Jan. 30, 2022. His family surrounded him with love as he moved to his new address in heaven.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy J Covington; mother, Anne G Covington; son, David P. Meron; daughters, Kristie A Wright, Spring Shock, Jessica K Prior, Tiffany George; sisters, LucyAnne Freestone and Geneva Bringhurst; brothers, Justin Max Covington Jr., Paul Covington, Ardell J. Covington; many nieces and nephews, 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
