Gloria Gurr was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, January 14, 1924, to Lester Raymond Gardiner and Sarah Lucille Kener.

She married Kenyon Robb Gurr December 21, 1942, just before Kenyon was called to active duty in the Air Force. Their happy marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Gloria and Kenyon raised three daughters: Marsha (Kent) Richards, Corinne (Bradd) Hayes, and Leslie Rae (Gilbert) Jennings. Her family is grateful for her good life and mourns her passing on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in St. George at the age of 91.

Daughters, sons-in-law, 17 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren remember Gloria’s petite beauty, her busy hands, her deep brown eyes, her once rich brown hair now turned white, and her encouraging words.

As an exemplary wife and mother, Gloria cared for her home and family with nurturing love and singular devotion. She followed and supported her husband in his World War II deployments and his many subsequent responsibilities, and has longed to be with him again.

Sherry Ann 10-8-2014July 29, 1952 – October 2, 2015

After fighting cancer with the courage of a lioness, Sherry Ann Bradbury returned to her Heavenly Father as she passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on October 2, 2015.

Sherry is the middle child of Melvin and Ruby Graber, born on July 29, 1952.  She was raised on the “farm” in rural Harvey County, Kansas with her four brothers; Melvin, Ardth, Dennis, and Mark.  She graduated a true wildcat of Moundridge High School in 1970 and went on to attend Bethel College.

On August 28, 1971, Sherry married her high school sweetheart, Steven H. Bradbury. They were then sealed together for eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 13, 1977. Together they had four sons; Aarron, Jarrod, Steven, and Kristopher. She was an amazing wife and nurturing mother, who created a loving home centered on love, respect, and honor.

Sherry had a great love of music and loved playing the piano. At a young age, Sherry developed a passion for reading and she could always be found with a good book.  Her greatest love though, was spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s events  where she could always be heard shouting words of encouragement.

Bradbury, Sherry YSherry is survived by her husband, Steven H. Bradbury; four sons, their wives, and children.  Aarron and Julie (Konold) Bradbury and their children Riley S. and Mia B., Jarrod and Alana (Hovey) Bradbury and their children Jordan P.
