April 8, 1980 – Nov. 9, 2021

Our sweet Sydnee Belle, 41, unexpectantly left this earthly life to make new friends in her heavenly home on Nov. 9, 2021. A true definition of love, Syd’s greatest desire was to have everyone love one another.

April 8, 1980 the Frei family was blessed with Sydnee Belle. Lowell, Julie, Tony, Shannon and Lyndsey welcomed her with open arms … then later Syd got her wish, a little brother, Mitch.

Syd was a bundle of joy. She was a little cutie and we all just wanted to chew on her rosy cheeks. She was a delight to be around and easy to love. Friends have always been an important part of her life. At an early age, kids gravitated to Syd, and sharing love with others was her daily goal.

Sydnee grew up in St. George and attended school here. She graduated from Snow Canyon High School in 1998 and received her bachelor of arts from Dixie College then continued her education at UVU in Provo, Utah.

She was a favorite employee at Pizza Factory in St. George and then in Provo. She loved to go to work, so that she could visit. She worked at Newby’s Hill Top Conoco and Fabulous Freddy’s for many years and acquired lifelong friends. (You might be one of her groupies!) Syd usually had a big cup of pop in her hand. A casualty of working in the soda business!

Singing and performing were a few of her many talents. She sang songs before she could share a complete sentence. She shared her talents singing in choirs as a little tike and then she continued singing at events and funerals. She was a member of Snow Canyon Madrigals and performed in plays throughout her teen years. Syd loved to do arts and crafts and was so willing to share her talents. Cooking was also one of her talents. She would cook up a storm and then deliver to neighbors, family and friends.

Syd was blessed with a BIG heart. She was a softy in temperament and truly was a peacemaker. She was always concerned with others. She had a hug and a bag of candy for the little ones she adored. The kids loved Syd. Everyone loved Syd. She was the life of the party. She is a true definition of love, friendship and service.

Syd loved family gatherings (she was already excited for Thanksgiving). She has left a huge hole in our hearts, but we feel peace knowing she is well and happy again.

Syd was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her Savior. She believed in families being together forever!

Our beautiful Syd leaves behind: mother, Julie (Jeff) Allen, Kanab, Utah, father, Lowell Frei, Hurricane, Utah, sisters; Shannon (Jason) Lowe, Holiday Utah, Lyndsey (Greg) Hunter, Hurricane, Utah, brother; Mitch (Kristin) Frei, Panguitch, Utah, grandmother; Jewel Snow, St. George, Utah; nieces and nephews; Dylan (Will) Nicholas, Skylar and Marley Lowe, Hadlee and Hayzen Hunter, Tobi and Tommy Frei and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
