Glen Don Chadwick, passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, March 13, 2015, in St. George, Utah. He was born January 8, 1929, in American Fork, Utah, to Glen and Clara Mirriam Butt Chadwick.
Don was raised in American Fork, Utah.
He served in the United States Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He married Verna Proctor on March 19, 1951 and their union was blessed with five children. Don lived in Las Vegas for 40 years and worked as an Operating Engineer Local 12. After retiring, Don and Verna took their RV and traveled around the country for 16 years before settling in St. George, Utah.
Don is survived by his wife, Verna; children, C. Don (Cheri) of St. George, Brad V. (Beth) of Yuma, Arizona, Cindy Barney (Gaynard) of Orem, Utah, Ralph (Mary Jean) of Henderson, Nevada, and Kelly Wagner (Wayne) of Las Vegas, Nevada; and brother, Clark Chadwick of American Fork, Utah. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Bill, Tim, and Chris; and sisters, Helen, Francis, and Clara Mae.
Funeral Services
- A memorial service will be Thursday, March 19, at 11 a.m. in the Price Hills Ward Chapel, 675 E. Desert Hills Drive, St. George
- A visitation will be Thursday, 10-11 a.m. prior to services
- Internment will take place Friday, March 20, at 2 p.m. in the American Fork City Cemetery
