Genevieve Marie White, 86, resident of Santa Clara, Utah, passed away on Nov. 3, 2016. Genny was born March 1, 1930, in La Junta, Colorado, the daughter of John E. and Ella M. (Hansen) Hartzler. She was married to William Gerald White on May 14, 1948, in Pueblo, Colorado.
Genny grew up in Colorado and California before retiring to Utah. She was active in and enjoyed square dancing and was a devoted wife and mother. Professionally, she was involved in the banking industry for 20-plus years.
She is survived by sons William and Doug White, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, and will be interred with him at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, New Mexico.
Funeral Services
- Memorial services well held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 630 Riesling Ave., Santa Clara, Utah, on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
