Kit Delane Reed, of Enterprise, passed away on Oct. 11, 2023. An Air Force Vietnam veteran with three years of honorable service to his country, Reed was a true American pioneer as an aircraft mechanic technician.
He later worked as a heavy equipment operator at Kennecott Copper Mine, an avid prospector of gems, wildlife fisherman and hunter and enjoyed a lifetime in love with all animals and wildlife.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Reed.
Mrs. Reed would like to acknowledge the entire Intensive Care Unit staff of St. George Regional Medical Center Intermountain Healthcare for their professionalism, special care and support during this difficult time.
The compassionate service of Intermountain Hospice and Bereavement Services nurses and social workers in his last moments did not go unnoticed.
The outstanding services provided by the Spilsbury Mortuary team for preparation, coordination and arrangement for his burial services at the beautiful Enterprise Cemetery — his final home.
