Tallon Jacob Torres, age 36, passed away Aug. 11, 2023, in St. George, Utah. He was born on March 16, 1987, in Cedar City, Utah, to Michael Torres and Debra Reber Torres.

He married Heather Dunn April 20, 2019, in Rockville, Utah.

Tallon was raised in Cedar City, Utah, where he attended Canyon View High School, class of 2005. During his time in high school, he excelled as an athlete playing football and dominated on the wrestling mat. He was then offered a scholarship to play football at Southern Utah University. After collegiate sports, his love for wrestling took him into mixed martial arts where he continued to develop as an athlete and ultimately become a beloved legend in the Utah MMA community.

Of all the many things Tallon excelled at, the thing he was most passionate about was being a husband and father. He loved traveling and experiencing new places with his wife Heather and spending time doing any and everything with his kids. Tallon has always been a beacon of possibility to others who know him, succeeding in anything he sets his sights on and inspiring others to see their own potential. His smile was contagious to everyone he met and left a lasting impression anywhere he was.

He is survived by his wife Heather Torres of St. George, his children Aiden, Ashtyn, Addi, Teigan and Jaxton, parents Mike and Debbie Torres of Cedar City, brother Tony Torres (Monica) of Cedar City and sister Tracee Petty (Joe) of St. George.

He is preceded in death by his sister Tory Torres, grandpa Max Torres, grandma JoAnn Reese, grandpa Ralph Reber, uncle Tom Torres, aunt Carmen Gale, aunt Natalie Demille, uncle Anthony Torres, uncle David Reber and cousins Felicia Gale, Royce Houchen and Tyson Torres.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Aug. 20, at Zion Red Rock Oasis, 955 West 250 S, Rockville, Utah, from 4-6 p.m.

A memorial service will be held in Cedar City, Utah at a later date and will be announced by the family.
