Ross Edwin Miller passed away at his home in New Harmony, Utah, on May 10, 2023, from an ongoing heart condition.
Ross was born to Theodore William Miller and Virgie Crystle Avery on Oct. 9, 1952, in Twin Falls, Idaho. He served in the U.S. Army 1971-74 and was honorably discharged for his service. In 1972, he married Caroline Ortega and was blessed with three children. After their divorce, he had a long-time partnership with Michelle Marsh before marrying Tonya Frehner in 1994.
Ross possessed many trade skills from vehicle mechanics to construction to cattle ranching; however, his greatest sense of pride came from his many CDL endorsements and safe driver awards. After a 25-plus-year career in the trucking/construction industry, he retired in 2019 to travel, visit his family and play with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Tonya Frehner, his children Theodore “Teddy” William Miller II, Ross Edwin “Eddy” Miller Jr. (Kendra), Christine Lee Miller, his stepchildren, Bryana Renick (Chase), Britni Richards (David), and Bailey Becker (Dave), his eight grandchildren Kira, Travis, MacKenzie, Andrew, Zachary, Phoenix, Ronin, Ripley and one great-grandson Devonte.
Services to honor his life will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12 North Main St., New Harmony, Utah, on May 27, as follows: Viewing at 9 a.m., memorial at 10 aa.m., burial at 11 a.m. and luncheon at noon.
