Jake Eugene Bullard, 55, passed away peacefully on Feb. 10, 2022. Jake was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Dec. 8, 1966, the son of Sharon “Butch” and Margaret Bullard.
Jake married Carol Ann Garlick on June 14, 1990.
Jake was raised in Hanksville, Utah. He attended Wayne High School and was a state champion wrestler and a member of three state championship teams. Jake and Carol settled in St. George, Utah, where they raised their kids and where he owned his own business for over 20 years. His kids and grandkids were the love of his life. He spent years taking them to numerous motocross races throughout the country.
Jake is survived by his wife, Carol; his son, Jacob Bullard; and daughters; Taylor Cobb, Haydee (Hunter) Gurule, and Reagan Bullard; grand-children Skyelar, Ryker, Lukas, Brynlee, and Easton. He is also survived by his mother, sister, Lori (Joseph) Jensen and brother, Dwight (Trulee Ann) Bullard. Jake is preceded in death by his father, sister Shelly, and son-in-law Jeremy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. at 1132 S. 2670 E., St. George, Utah 84790. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Spilsbury Mortuary, St. George, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, a go-fund-me account has been set up to defer future education costs for Jake’s kids and grandkids.
